The last three months of 2009 I
was living in an artist residency in Montreal, Canada. It was an old Foundry of
metal and arms and during the Second World War they export armaments to Europe.
Many workers at the Foundry died
there because of bad working conditions and during my stay I could feel myself
involved with this strange energy and atmosphere.
I decided to walk naked at one
area of the building to represent how I was feeling the place, myself there,
the story about the die workers, about the people who died in Europe and the
feeling of be naked and without protection in front of the Death.

últimos tres meses del año 2009
estuve en una residencia para artistas
en Montreal,
Canadá.
Era una vieja fábrica de hacer
metales y armas que durante la
segunda Guerra Mundial exportó armas a
Europa.
Los
trabajadores del lugar trabajaban en muy
malas condiciones de trabajo expuestos a
muchos riesgos por lo cual muchos murieron
allí.
Me
podía sentir envuelta en toda esa
extraña energía sin poder hacer mucho.
Un día decidí mostrar cómo me sentía
respecto al hecho de vivir en un
lugar así. Camine desnuda en el estudio
varios días.
La
obra pretende reflejar la desprotección
doble que se generó de este lugar:
tanto algunos obreros como las personas en
la guerra habían muerto.
